Longbow1635 posted a cool video on an Enfield rifle found near Thiepval in France. Not much left to look at, the old warrior having spent much time underground. Another viewer identified it as a No. I Mk. III, which means it could have been in either world war. I vote for the First World War. The viewer also wisely remarked it could still be loaded...

Goncalo Mabunda is an artist from Mozambique whose art is quite unique. Mozambique has been at peace for 20 years, but the remains of warfare are all around. His art is an effort to remember those that had died because of the weapons of war, and he uses scraps of those weapons to create his much sought after creations. My favorite are his chairs, or thrones of African Kings, which are striking after a closer view, and reflect his ideas of how those kings held power. Check the links below for more of his artwork.
