Frank Barnes fulfilled a bullet junkie's wildest dream, which is at least an attempt at cataloging the world's diverse array of cartridges.  The book is a good education in the history and evolution of cartridges, along with rudimentary load data and bullet weights.  He also covers wildcat cartridges, which is a huge subject all on it's own.  The list of cartridges grows every day, so some lately developed things probably won't be in there, but one of my interests is the big fat cartridges of the nineteenth century, and that subject is covered in great detail.  Available at Amazon.
