The People's Mosquito is an organisation that wants to return the de Havilland Mosquito, a plywood twin engine fighter from WW2, back to the skies of England. The group is in the early stages of planning, and is just gauging interest and possibly collecting dollars (pounds?). They say no flying versions are in the air, and want to remedy that fact. They have over 1000 people who have signed on (at least to being interested) and base their aim on the fact that many ordinary people, companies and towns in England financed their own Mosquito for the war effort. Their website allows you to sign up, keep up on news and has contacts for you to contribute your talents, if you were a, say, out of work Mosquito mechanic. Will be great to see one fly again.
