Nutter Center in Dayton Ohio is the place a virtual army of military vehicles will descend on August 2nd through the 7th. Technically it's the 2011 MPVA (Military Vehicle Preservation Association) Convention and there seems to be quite a number of events on tap.  The vehicles will be the centerpiece of the show, with demonstrations and discussions are numerous aspects of the hobby.  There will be a display by the Vietnam War Experience Travelling Museum, talks on the finer points of Quad 50 mounts and truck applications, and you can even get a ride in an Alligator! (Or what the Marines had to ride in on their way to Tarawa). There will be plenty to do and see, and who could resist old armor. Who knows, you might even want to join up.
