According to a story in World Radio Switzerland, a British company is organizing shooting trips to gun ranges in Switzerland.  Most of the ranges in Switzerland are owned by the state, or some type of government entity and are used by the military and police.  Machine guns are not off the table, and British citizens taking the trips are shooting these guns in Swiss Special Forces ranges among others.  The audio file on the website describes the Swiss having a gun  culture much like the U. S., and the South Africans, and don't shy away from using and even enjoying guns.  And while it is difficult for Brits to enjoy guns in their own country, they still do in a limited fashion, and now even have an outlet for much heavier weaponry.  Good for them.
