November 11th is Remembrance (or Veterans) Day in Canada (and all Commonwealth Countries).  The Toronto Sun remembered the contribution of a French Officer, Raymond Brutinel, to the formation of the Canadian Automobile Machine Gun Corps.  Brutinel saw the importance of the machine gun when other officers of the British Army were trying to minimize it's importance.  The Corps acquitted itself well in the War to end all Wars, A period armored car is on display at Camp Bordon, Ontario in it's museum.  Raymond Brutinel died in France in 1964.  He was 82.
